The Secret to Happiness

We all want to be happy right? But what is the secret to happiness?

Since the dawn of time, humanity has relentlessly pursued the elusive answer to the eternal quest for happiness.

Happiness looks different for everyone. What makes us happy will not necessarily make someone else happy.

The truth of the matter is,no one will ever be 100% happy,thus in actual fact, it is futile to persue the perfectionistic idea of eternal happiness.

All we can do is to try to live a balanced life,not just all work and no play,but a life in which the things that make us happy is in balance with work and all the other stressors of life. It is when we sit and overthink things and we do not stay busy, that unhappiness takes hold.

The key is thus to enjoy life and do as many things as possible that gives us joy. Reset everyday not just weekends or holidays. Incorporate fun things on a daily basis to reset your mind and to balance out everything.

It is when we sit and have nothing to do that we start overthinking things to death,and this is not good for our mental health. We cannot choose what will happen to us but we can choose how we respond to it.

Life is also about focusing on the glass half full rather than the glass half empty. When you focus on what you have instead of what you don't have, the game changes forever.
